PraveenLata Sansthan Foundation is an award winning Not Profit organization based in Jaipur working with its operations across PAN India.The primary focus is to alleviate on the problems of the poor and their struggle to obtain a life of justice and dignity focusing on Child Welfare, Women Empowerment & Rural Development. An in-depth understanding of issues in the area and consistent support from community members, have led the organization to undertake and implement various need based interventions on education, health and skill development at grass root level.

The Journey

Bharti Singh Chauhan is a remarkable social entrepreneur and a dedicated advocate for women’s empowerment in India. As the Founder and Director of PraveenLata Sansthan Foundation and Merapad, she has devoted her efforts to uplift and empower girls and women who face various challenges stemming from financial, social, and economic barriers. Bharti’s journey towards empowering women began at a young age, and since the age of 12, she has been working tirelessly to create opportunities for women to thrive.

Bharti's impactful work has earned her widespread recognition and admiration from esteemed institutions and individuals. She received the prestigious honor of being named one of the "100 Women Achievers of India" by the Women and Child Welfare Department, an accolade bestowed by the Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. Additionally, Bharti has served as an ambassador for influential campaigns such as the Girl Rising Campaign and the World of Difference Program by the Vodafone Foundation.

One of Bharti's most notable contributions is in the field of menstrual hygiene. Her innovative creation, the Reusable Cloth Pad made of Bamboo Charcoal, has garnered global acclaim. Not only is it recognized for its eco-friendly nature, but Bharti's efforts have earned her the endearing title of the "Pad Women of India." Her exceptional work has been recognized through numerous state, national, and international accolades, including the highly esteemed We Empower UN SDG Award and recognition from the Vital Voices Global Partnership during the 77th UN Assembly in 2022.

In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Bharti serves as an ambassador for several international campaigns, including the International Girl Rising Campaign, World of Difference by the Vodafone Foundation, and World Pulse. Her contributions and dedication have been acknowledged with over 46 national and international awards, including the ICICI Advantage Women Award and the City Rising Gender Champion Award. Bharti's unwavering commitment to creating positive change in society continues to inspire and uplift women, not only in India but also globally.

President Awardee Bharti Singh Chauhan known as Pad woman of Rajasthan is Founder & CEO of Merapad & PraveenLata Sansthan Foundation, a Not Profit Organization that works to empower girls and women across India. Bharti has challenged social barriers for her rights at an early age, and stands to be a role model for girls and women across the country by impacting the lives of more than 1 million women and girls through the production and sale of sustainable menstrual products.

She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Rajasthan University and is a Fellow from The School for Social Entrepreneur, India. Additionally, Bharti is an Incubate from Niti Aayog Atal Incubation Centre Banasthali and recipient of the President Award as one of the 100 Women Achievers of India.She is recognized as an exceptional woman across South Asia by University of California, Berkley and Facebook HQ, Silicon Valley under Tell Her Story & recently recognized as We Empower UN SDG Awardee at United Nations Assembly by Vital Voices & UN at new york. Bharti was declared as one of the Business Leaders 50 Under 50 by Business Mint Magazine. Bhuvanendra Singh

Bhuvanendra Singh, is an Social Entrepreneur, who has worked with a number of NonProfits. His innovative ideas and professional experience of 15 years in various sectors like Education, Print Media & Social Sector driving CSR gives a holistic dimension to projects. He has contributed extensively in Planning & Execution of Various Projects gaining National attractions and winning awards like Jiyo Dil Se Award Season 2 for initiative Bal Sabha by Leading Newspaper Dainik Bhaskar, Recognition by UNEP for contributing to the environment.

He also plays an important role in building Brand Image and Managing Public Relations of the organization and Media Part. He is also the Brand Ambassador of Menstruation Hygiene Management – Celebrate the Red Droplets who is trying to break up the taboo. He is the convenor of Campaign Respect S.H.E. He has brought on board his expertise and willingly extends all the support to the organization in the field of printing and publishing.

Smt Bimla Paliwal

Vice President

Bimla Paliwal is a Retired Principal from Government School with a vast experience of Educating Girls for more than 40 Years. She has been associated with PLS since the inception of the organization and has been a motivator and guide in designing all the initiatives related to Children and Women empowerment. She has brought on board her expertise and willingly extends all the support to the organization in the field of Child Welfare and Development driving all policies and Skill Development Program

Manish Garg

Manish Garg is a Finance Professional with specialized experience for more than 15 Years in Vendor Management, Event Management and Procurement. He has contributed immensely to various aspects of PLS- like Finance Planning, Budgeting and Event Management.
