SHIKSHA SETU – Empowering Children through Educational Guidance and Women Mentorship

The SHIKSHA SETU project aims to provide educational guidance and support to children living in villages and slums who cannot afford regular school attendance and lack access to educational resources. It seeks to bridge the educational gap by engaging educated women from the community as mentors and role models for these children. Through mentorship, the project aims to enhance the children’s educational opportunities, inspire them to pursue learning, and empower them for a brighter future.

Project Objectives:

  1. Increase access to educational guidance: Provide educational support, guidance, and resources to children in villages who face barriers to regular school attendance.
  2. Empower women as mentors: Engage educated women from the community to serve as mentors and role models for the children, promoting female empowerment and leadership.
  3. Improve educational outcomes: Enhance the academic performance, motivation, and confidence of the children through personalized mentorship and educational assistance.
  4. Foster a love for learning: Cultivate a positive learning environment and instill a passion for education among the children through interactive and engaging activities.
  5. Promote community involvement: Encourage community participation and support for the project to create a sustainable educational ecosystem in the village.
