Titli Skill Development & Women Entrepreneurship Program, is a vocational skilling arm followed by empowering Girls &  Women from marginalized Communities. The objective was  to train  and provide them with employable skills, coupled with access to employment and entrepreneurship. Our Goal aims to provide employment and make them self reliant. As Women Play a important role not only in their family and providing them full employment which means work security, income security, food security, and social security which includes health care, child care, insurance, pension,  and housing at the house hold level.

We will focus on 4 E’s

Education – Training & Capacity Building to get accessed to readiness on access to knowledge, education, Technology, information and other skills

Employment – Facilitate to become Economically Empowered by Building their Skills

Empowerment – Getting them empowered to become a main contributor for Decision Making in Child Care, Health Care and other challenges faced by Women

Environment – Develop products which are hand crafted and also use techniques to make out of industrial wastes to build a safe environment

SECTION 1 – (BUILDING SKILLS) –

We will conducts short-term courses of 2-3 months duration, focusing on young girls and women from marginalized communities. The model is based on strong industry linkages and youth counselling, and focuses on hands-on skills building vocational and Industrial training.

PraveenLata Sansthan has a four-step mechanism which includes

  4. Handholding

SECTION 2 – (BUILDING NATION)

The Program Focuses on helping

  • Training Girls and women on various Skills (Government Schools, Institutions, Centers).
  • Business Mentoring & Financial support for their enterprise
  • Awareness around Government Schemes Linkages
  • Creating Market Linkages by helping women in setting up their own enterprises
  • Building Pragati Sakhis – Future Leaders to take roles of Trainers, Supervisors, Community Mobilizers

GOALS

2025

  • Currently we are running one center at Ameer Road successfully and further look forward to expand our operations to Rural Parts of Rajasthan to kick start the operations. We are targeting to target 5000 girls and women by March 2025  to build on their hands on skills and help them lead a way to be economically independent by helping them working from home or start their own enterprise.
  • Support 100 Women Entrepreneurs to Build their Enterprise by 2025
  • We also plan to collaborate with Vocational training centers as PLS temporary centers which will be runned in association/collaborations or individual setup by the NGO to run the whole program in upcoming days.
  • We aim to kickstart a Store in name of Titlam Handmade Products by women and local artisians and Create online visibility on various online platforms by 2025 end like amazon, flipkart and etsy through our hybrid model promoting sales.

IMPACT OF WORK

EMPLOYMENT GENERATION

  • 1550 Girls and WOmen Trained on various Vocational Short term Courses
  • 60% women improved on their  Financial independency – increase in earning income by ranging from 6000 to 15000  Rs per month
  • Increased productivity at Work & sense of job security.
  • 40% Women started focusing on spending on health  and education of the household levels resulting to improving quality of  life
  • 45  Girls and Women Placed in various Roles with Start-ups and Enterprises
  • Created 2 Cohort of 20 Women Entrepreneurs helping them start their own enterprise
  • 70% Women become Self Employed by building their own skills

CHANGEMAKER IMPACT

  • Creating 105 change makers Pragati Sakhis” who are further develop a chain of social leaders through community Mobilization, building skills by adding value to the courses and helping women to become a part of the journey of Change in their communities

SOCIAL AWARENESS

  • Change in mindsets of Corporate Partners and NGO Work building positivity, brand image in the community
  • 60% Women are able to deal and manage Better financial management

COVID RELIEF

  • 50 Women were supported to work from Home during COVID 19 who were involved inMaking Masks, Bags, Cloth Pads and were provided with Sustainable Livelihood
  • 30 Pragati Sakhis worked on Grounds to train Women and provide livelihood Opportunities with support of startups and also worked on providing COVID Relief support to people in need by distributing Dry Ration Kits, Oxygen Concentrators, medical Kits.

LIFE SKILL & SOFT SKILL DEVELOPMENT

  • 25 Life Skill & 25 Soft Skill Workshop’s on Communication Skills, Decision Making Skills, Customer Handling, Team Building etc for around 800 Children.
  • 25 Life SKill workshops
  • 50 girls got practical training on market exposure by exhibiting their handmade products at  corporates like PWC, Vodafone ,Reliance, AU Bank etc

LEARNING OUTCOME

    • 95 % Women Improved in Learning Outcome to build  hand on skills  resulting to greater interest in learning skills to be independent
    • 100% women stated that there was a Increase in self confidence, motivation and self esteem
    • 90% Women improved on their  communication and management skills to earn their living
