Bharti was born in a middle class family at Jaipur, An incident with her younger brother pushed her family into financial crisis which led her to dropout schooling further continuing to take odd jobs (stiching sarees, working as maid, working in lingire store, applying heena) to take care of her family responsibilities.She also had to overcome the challenge of getting married off by her relatives at the age of 15.
She had a clear vision about her better future, without hearing all the negative words, she stood strong and continued her studies. She has never been to collage, but yet her passion to drive change through education made her complete Post Graduation.She started her career from small outsourced bank later working with print media like Rajasthan Patrika and Dainik Bhaskar. With time her hard work paid and later got a job in Hutch in 2006 which is now known as Vodafone and later along with her professional job contributed to work for the society since the age of 16 by volunteering with various NGO’s , Associations and Clubs. After working as a professional for 16 years, She dropped her career to further dedicate her life to work for welfare of society through her organization,She realized the fact that girls of today are still facing those same challenges because of social taboos and myths. This motivated her to start an NGO in 2013 named Praveenlata Sansthan in memory of her mother and mother in law to help girls and women to stand up for their rights and create a ecosystem of empowerment by connecting them to education and making them economically independent.
The Organization is working at grassroot level since 2013 through its unique initiatives basis ground reality.
Bharti for her Contribution has been recognized with various State Level and National Awards like World of Difference Award,Women in Red, Jiyo Dil Se Award and many more.She is also known as Ambassador of WOD Program of Vodafone foundation and is Ambassador for International Girl Rising Campaign which was launched by First lady Micheal Obama and is Promoting Girls education in Rajasthan. Recently She has been Recognized by Hon. President Shri Pranab Mukherjee and Smt. Maenka Gandhi for her contribution towards society under Women Empowerment category and Ministry of Women and Child Welfare Department – Government of India in association with Facebook as 100 Women Achievers Nationally under Women Empowerment Category. She is the State Chairperson of Women Economic Forum All Ladies League
